EU provided additional funds for repairing of
the damaged houses

Euro Commissioner of Foreign Relations Chris Patten
arrived yesterday in Macedonia and signed an agreement on reconstructing
the damaged houses in the crisis regions in Macedonia with the NGO Children's
aid direct.
The aim of the reconstruction program is to provide assistance for the
citizens, to restore the confidence and to calm the political situation.
Around thousands damaged houses in Aracinovo, Tetovo and Kumanovo. Already
Euro 1 million were provided for recontrsucting around two thousands houses
in Tetovo area. Another 320 houses in Kumanovo region will be repaired
with the money provided within the agreement, and their reconstruction
will start next week and will last until the end of this year.
