10,5 million euro donation for reconstruction
of the electric-energetic infrastructure

General Director of Macedonian Power Company Lambe
Arnaudov and Euro Commissioner of Foreign Relations Chris Patten yesterday
signed an agreement for a donation of Euro 10,5 million, that would be
intended for reconstruction of the damages on the electric-energetic infrastructure,
which were caused by military actions in the crisis region.
In the framework of the first reconstruction phase Euro 5,5 million will
be donated, and the rest would be donated by the middle of the month.
Power-lines will be reconstructed first, countinuing with the electric
network. This financial help would expedite the needed reconstruction
which would contribute for normalization of the overall situation and
sooner return of displaced people in their homes.
However, the financial help will depend on the signing of the Framework
agreement.
