Health assessment in affected
regions started

Ministry of health and World Health Organization
started with health assessment in affected regions today. 13 teams were
set up: Tetovo region (5). Skopje (5) and Kumanovo (3), where 98 objects
should be assessed.
Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation provided logistic support
for one team from Medical centre in Kumanovo, that made assessment in
villages of Lipkovo region (Nikustak, Lipkovo, Slupchane, Matejche and
Otlja) today. Representative of Kumanovo municipality was a part of the
team. During the assessment in villages there were local representatives
and a part of ambulanta employers present.
According to the first assessment of medical buildings, they are in bad
condition. In all visited ambulanta the interior was missing. With exception
of Lipkovo, ambulanta are partly damaged by shell-bombs. The population
in Lipkovo region has need of medical assistance.
