Introduction to the minutes of 17th NGO humanitarian coordination meeting made Islam Sakiri.

The minutes from the 17th meeting was accepted.

Ad.1

Emina Nuredinoska, MCIC, made introduction.

Ad.1.

All participants present in the meeting have accepted the appeal.

Conclusions

The appeal against obstructions of returning of displaced persons has been approved. Organizations absents from the meeting will be ask for acceptation of appeal, additional. Common statement will be publishing in daily newspapers in Macedonian and Albanian language.

The conclusions have been accepted unanimously.

Ad.2

a) Emina Nuredinoska, MCIC made introduction to the 22nd meeting of NHC.

Minutes from the 22nd meetings will be distributed to the organizations, additional.

b) The participants in the meeting submitted short oral reports, on the activities carried out in the previous period.

- food / non-food products

The Coordinative body from Tetovo in cooperation with donors from Switzerland provided humanitarian aid for displaced persons (Roma) in Tetovo.

- MCIC in cooperation with Greece’s humanitarian organization "Solidarity" will distribute oranges (14 kg per families, monthly) for displaced persons accommodate in collective centres and local citizens in crisis regions, next five months.

- coordination

Because of reduced scope of activities, the Coordinative body from Gostivar some period will be no active.

In Kumanovo, in organization of UNHCR was held meeting in topic on Quip Impact Projects. The meeting was attended by local NGO from Kumanovo area.

The representatives of the other organizations informed that the volume of activities in this period is reduced and they are now in a process of planning their activities for the upcoming period.

Ad. 3

Memedali Rahmani, Mesecina, stressed the problem with humanitarian organization Chesvi during distribution of firewood, and in function of better informing he suggested that would be necessary the minutes from NGO humanitarian coordination and sectorial meetings to be shared between them. Also, is necessary to be realizing the humanitarian activities taken by organizations, because in comparation with assistance provided during the Kosovo refugees’ crisis, domestic organizations are in minority position.

Dilbera Kamberovska, Daja, added that domestic NGOs beside the resource they have, they serve as a service for schedules and numbers requested by international organizations.

Aleksandar Krzalovski, MCIC, suggested tribune on topic on previous propound question, but first is necessary to made a summary about what is done last year. This will be used as a base for comparation. He also consigns the request from Centre for Crisis Management for previous announcement for humanitarian aid for crisis regions. The humanitarian aid should be announced 24 hours previous and bi-weekly will be prepare the reports for delivered humanitarian assistance.

Cooperation between NGO humanitarian cooperation and International NGO Council

Relate whit this question, were propound opposite opinions.

Memedali Rahmani, Mesecina believes that is necessary to pass some period to be considering the need of direct cooperation with International NGO Council.

Bajram Sulejmani, Natyra, emphasized that NGO humanitarian coordination and International NGO Council should cooperate between, and he suggested participation at the meetings bilateral.

The meeting started at 14:00 and finished at 15:30 o'clock.
